Wine touring at its best

​​My friends and I have just enjoyed a fabulous day with Linda and Keith in the Loire Valley. I've done many wine tours in NZ and Australia but this was my first in France. My French is beginner level at best so having a couple to help understand and share their knowledge of this incredible wine region was invaluable. Each winery and tasting experience was unique and clearly carefully selected for their guests to learn about the region and its lovely wines. The lunch they prepared for us was superb - so much so I was trying to figure out how I could get the leftovers home in my pockets before they graciously offered to package them up for us. I strongly recommend for a particularly special way to see the area.  (April 2022)

An amazing experience!

As Californians, we have gone on many wine tours but our experience at Loire Winery Tours exceeded our expectations in every way. Keith and Linda are the perfect tour guides - incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and with close connections at all the best wineries. All the wine we tried was delicious and you couldn't have asked for a more picturesque setting. Plus as experts in both food and wine, they were an invaluable source for local recommendations. A day I won't forget

It was such a treat to hang out with Keith and Linda for a half day and talk all things wine and the Loire Valley. They are lovely people and so knowledgeable about wine and viniculture. As I'm hoping to move to France, I especially enjoyed getting to know them and hearing about their experience moving to France. They have been an amazing resource and have followed up with all kinds of information and contacts for me. But besides that, the day could not have been better. The picnic was so delicious and in the most delightful pigeonniere. And the two wineries we visited were gorgeous and so interesting. I sampled multiple wines at each and fell in love with sparkling wines, never having tasted one before that I liked. I spent the next three weeks in France trying all kinds of sparkling wines, and now I'm a big fan. Thank you, Keith and Linda, for introducing me to France, the Loire Valley, and French wines of the area! It was a day I won't forget!  (Sept 2021)

🥂 We thought we knew wine but we learned ALOT. For 2 days while in Loire Valley, Keith and Linda pampered us by picking the 4 of us up in their van with fresh-baked croissants and driving us to three smaller wineries where we met with the owners, toured the vineyards and production facilities, and tasted wines. Plus, they served a luxurious picnic lunch they prepared!  Ed, May 2025

🍷 My husband and I spent the most relaxing day with Linda and Keith of Loire Winery Tours. Within moments of starting our full-day adventure, we found them very engaging. Both of them were very knowledgeable about the area and quite the sommeliers. We contemplated whether to do the half day or full day and decided to splurge on the full day with the 3-course lunch; we never looked back. Keith and Linda took us to three wineries, each of which provided private tours and tastings. There was never any pressure to purchase wines, which we appreciated as that was not our experience when on a private tour of Napa. Although all three locations were lovely, the highlight of our day was the conversations and the amazing 3-course lunch that Linda had prepared for us. The lunch location was at one of the wineries where we sat at a picnic table that was adorned by grape vines creating the most memorable and beautiful setting. Both Linda and Keith served us three courses over about an hour, they disappeared between each course allowing us to have a quiet and private lunch for two which made for a romantic atmosphere while embracing the day. The French lunch was lovely, they topped it off with a bottle of wine that we had tasted earlier in the day, one of our favorites! Both my husband and I would highly recommend this tour and would further suggest that you indulge for the full-day experience.  Sandra, October 2025

🍷 Had a blast in the Loire/Chinon countryside, what a great tour! Weather allowed my partner and I to be collected in a beautiful little 2CV, flowing around the country lanes to some beautiful vineyards with the roof rolled back was a highlight for a petrol head car enthusiast.  Truly excellent wine experience too of course, the hosts are super knowledgeable and passionate. But that shouldn’t stop anyone with little experience on the topic from jumping in and learning a bunch, great tour for any experience level to learn about the basics and local organic and bio farming methods. A Must-Do in the Loire Valley!

If you want a truly memorable experience in the region, take this tour, as it is an excellent way to taste the region’s best wine (especially if you are traveling without a car).  The tour itself is private, so no awkward small-talk with other travelers in car. The vineyards we went to were incredible (our bags are a little heavier going home), and the staff running the tastings were fun, professional, and passionate.  Keith and Linda are personable, accommodating, and truly a blast; not to mention their breadth of wine knowledge is masterful.  They have relationships with dozens of winemakers in the region and will cater the tour to your wine tastes (so if you know what you like, make sure you let them know!)
